Japan National Figures
For the first time Epoch manufactured bases for the figures which is a great idea
because the figures in previous sets have always tended to "fall over"
There is also a "backing card" which is protected within transparent plastic
which slots into the back of the base and the 9 different backing cards
each depict a "stadium scene" from the 2002 World Cup
The figures are sold in "blind" cartons which comprise of 20 individually boxed figures
so you don't know which ones you are getting
There are 9 different figures produced, each in both home & away kits,
so the set comprises of 18 figures in total
There are also "CHASER" figures contained in the cartons (home kit only)
which are identifiable by a "transparent" ball
These "CHASER" figures are as expected ... the most sought after
